February 22nd – Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing

Coiled Wines is teaming up with Capra Cheese for a weekend of next-level noshing. Taste, learn, and stock up on heavenly cheeses paired with wines so good you might shed a tear (of joy). Think creamy goat cheese with our crisp Dry Riesling or a nutty aged cheddar with our bold Petit Verdot. Stop by for a pairing experience worthy of a standing ovation—or at least a second glass. 

Lovers Bingo is one of the finest events of the year here at Coiled Wines- this bingo theme is a bit more adult-themed so consider yourselves forewarned! Tickets sell fast so grab some while you can! We will be offering wine, beer, soda, and charcuterie.

Bingo starts around 7, so come early to grab your table and grab your drink of choice!

What is better than great wine and jazz for Valentine’s? Award-winning jazzcomposer and pianist Alex Sjobeck and her trio bring you a night of mesmerizing jazz music to commemorate Valentine’s Day, serenading you with classic jazzlove songs and new works. Alex Sjobeck’s trio will feature Denver based drummer Gabriel Mangione and Moscow based bassist Josh Skinner.

The east coast meets west this evening with the jazz trio of Miami-based vocalist Kate Reid and Mountain West instrumentalists Alex Sjobeck (piano) and Braun Khan (bass). Come celebrate this holiday season with a night of Christmas jazz. You will be taken on a nostalgic journey through different eras of Christmas and holiday music arranged for the artistic jazz instrumentation of voice, piano, double bass, and saxophone. The ensemble's personnel have spent much of their music careers in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Denver and have all been recognized in the field of jazz performance and jazz composition. Currently, they are all based out of different areas of Idaho including Moscow, Twin Falls, and Boise where they share their passion for the music while teaching at the University of Idaho, Boise State University, and the College of Southern Idaho.

It’s that time of year again—our Annual Pie Showdown! Whether you’re team sweet or savory (or you dabble in both), we want to see what you’ve got!

This year, we’ve heard your feedback, and guess what? Everyone’s a judge! No sign-ups, no pressure, just bring your pie and your appetite! All you have to do is show up, dig in, and cast your vote. The person crowned as the Pie Champion will take home not only bragging rights but also a bottle of wine, because wine makes every victory sweeter.

Volaris! is a 6 piece Latin jazz band featuring the styles of Brazilian and Afro-Cuban music and their fusion with jazz. The band features musicians from around the mountain west including Derek Ganong (trumpet), Ben Britton (tenor saxophone/flute), Alex Sjobeck (piano), Abraham Masso III (bass), Derek Munson (drum set), and Dave Gluck (auxiliary percussion). Students and community members from around the Treasure Valley are encouraged to come and jam with a local professional rhythm section. Jam nights are free and open to the public, all you need to do is bring your own instrument and/or voice!
