About the Artist:

Hi everyone, my name is Mike Zolin, I have been a Boise firefighter for the last 23 years. I have been building art pieces for years. Recently I have been trying to get out and share my art with others. I make sculptures and wall art from reclaimed metals. Most of my pieces are etched aluminum (reclaimed street signs or pieces of aluminum) covered with epoxy. Being a Pisces, dive rescue team member and surfer, I am drawn towards beach and ocean scenes. I hope you will come by and say hi on First Friday.
